This sale has more in it than most houses have in a lifetime. Our client David was a very talented man at Disney. He loved his job, his friends and collecting was his passion. His home was just chucked full of the best and we mean full. We have an array of great pottery old and new. A lot of furniture also old and newer and quite a lot of vintage. This sale will not disappoint so be ready to be overwhelmed with great stuff.
Because of the rain it has been holding us back on trying to get it all out .
NOW ..We are all very busy getting it all unpacked regardless of the rain but I will list some of the items in more detail in what we have to offer.
This beautiful home as you enter through the garage is full of tables , full of books, Lots of Lp's, 78s, & 45s , a lot of old framed photos, prints and decor art. There is a pine farm table, misc small tables, collector cars, larger rugs , bookcases, cabinets, piano, misc camera and stereo equipment, baskets, chair & ottoman, black crystal chandelier, some Disney stuff (not a lot) several file cabinets and who knows what else.
As you enter in the den is a large Sony TV, stereo speakers, CD, DVD, Blu Ray more chairs and tables. But you will be amazed at the tables full of pottery. There are misc size vases, a lot of Bauer dinner ware , Homer laughlin, pottery barn, fiesta ware, Noritaka dinnerware, tiles .
There is a lot of household but cream of the crop. You name it we have it .. repurpose and recyle is what it is all about .. don't buy new.. save we all need too.
Now we inter into the living room /dinning room with a beauiful Green and Green (repro) bookcase , pr of vintage slant arm morris chairs, oak benches, tables, sideboard, large beveled mirror, larger oak treasel table, bench, chairs and lots of old and newer pottery .
There is some great vintage lighting through out the house with several dressers, chairs, bookcases, a sleep number frame to a king bed,( bookshelf base )a great Tommy Bahamma day bed (with everything ) never used excellent condition , Armoire country style with a great 1880 chair that is simply amazing. A campain desk , side chairs, bookcases.
Oh we have great mens clothes, 100's of shirts and pants a long with tons of suits designer to everyday. We have lots of shoes size 11 and so much more .. He was the best dressed gentleman in LA !!
Now that you have a idea of what he liked we also have a lot of cameras he liked to collect a long with stereo stuff .
This is a great sale and I have loved working here you will love it just the same.
